Epoxy Flooring

Epoxy Flooring Melbourne, Specified for the Floor You Actually Have

Epoxy is not one product. The system that belongs on a home garage will fail in a food factory, and the system that survives a chemical plant is money wasted on a rumpus room. We install four, and we choose between them on your slab rather than in a brochure.

Garages & workshops

Epoxy Flake

Vinyl flake broadcast into an epoxy base. Textured, slip resistant, waterproof and oil resistant, and it hides dirt. Covers cracks and staining in the old slab. Most home garages are finished in one to two days.

Factories & warehouses

High Build Commercial Epoxy

Built up thick enough to take forklift traffic and pallet drops. Chemical resistant and easy to clean, with anti slip and anti static additives where WHS requires them. Bay marking and line striping laid into the finish.

Showrooms & retail

Metallic Epoxy

A high gloss finish with a swirling metallic effect that is never the same twice. Stain proof and scratch resistant. From $90 per square metre.

Food & chemical sites

Urethane Cement

For thermal shock, steam cleaning, hot oils and aggressive chemicals. Exceptional impact resistance, and the standard for wash down environments where a normal epoxy will not survive.

Polished Concrete

Polished Concrete Melbourne, Ground and Sealed to Last Decades

We grind, polish and seal the concrete you already have, for open plan homes, retail fitouts, auto showrooms and high traffic commercial floors. The result is a seamless surface with no grout lines and no joins, and nothing to replace in ten years. How deep we cut decides how much aggregate shows, so we bring samples and cut a test patch before anyone commits.

Minimal cut

Cream Finish

Stays on the surface layer. Almost no stone visible, closest to a smooth uniform floor, and the most forgiving option on a slab with an unknown pour.

Light cut

Salt and Pepper

Exposes the sand and small aggregate for a fine speckled finish. The most popular choice for homes and retail, and the most predictable across a large area.

Deep cut

Full Stone Exposure

Opens up the large aggregate for a terrazzo like look with real depth. Dramatic in showrooms and entryways, and entirely dependent on what went into the original pour.

Honest advice

When We Say No

We install both systems, so we have no reason to push you either way. For garages, workshops and anywhere seeing oil, chemicals or forklifts we will recommend epoxy over polished concrete, and we will say so on site.

"I have used Granicrete in the past and have just used them on a large commercial job for a tricky blending of old and new concrete floor integration. You might find cheaper but you won't find better."

Common Questions

What Melbourne Customers Ask Us First

How much does epoxy flooring cost in Melbourne?

It turns on the size of the area, the condition of the slab and the system the floor needs. Metallic epoxy starts at $90 per square metre and Flowstone runs $80 to $100. Garage flake and industrial high build systems are quoted after we have seen the slab, because grinding, crack repair and moisture treatment are where the real variation sits. Every quote is itemised before any work starts.

Should I choose epoxy or polished concrete?

Polished concrete looks superb in open plan living areas, showrooms and retail fitouts. For garages, workshops, factories and anywhere taking oil, chemicals or forklift traffic we recommend epoxy. We install both, so we have no reason to steer you either way, and we will give you a straight answer on site.

Can you coat or polish my existing concrete slab?

Almost always. We grind the surface back, repair cracks and treat moisture issues before anything goes down. For polished concrete we cut a small test patch first so you can see what the aggregate underneath actually looks like. Where a slab is too far gone, we will tell you at the inspection rather than after you have paid.

How long will my floor take?

Most home garages are finished in one to two days. Residential polished concrete usually takes two to four days depending on area and cut depth. Factory and warehouse floors are staged around your operations so the site keeps running, and fast cure systems mean days rather than weeks.

What does the 7-year warranty cover?

Every Granicrete installation carries a written 7-year warranty against delamination, peeling and coating failure. It is issued in writing on completion, not promised verbally on the day.

Which areas do you cover?

All of Melbourne, from our base in Keilor East. We also travel to Geelong, Bendigo, Shepparton, the Mornington Peninsula and Gippsland for larger commercial jobs.
